5 Speed Cleanup

Well i decided to read a book today. gasp.

TOOC of course. and took the time to learn 5 speed. gotta say, this type of effect is exactly what im into.

just wondering if anyone performs this live and how you clean it up. what if people ask where the 3 is? how can you hand out the 5?

I do a version of the original Jennings versions, all can be done with a borrowed deck without any gaffs.

hmm.

Always the fun part of the 5 speed trick. Most of the time I don't give them a chance to do or say anything. I'll hand them thier original card (which they usually inspect, thinking there is something to that card.) While they are misdirected I simply scoop up the ace and two off the floor, mesh them back in the deck. Then control the 5 to the top, palm it, place it my hoodie pocket.
