Airport Magic

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I would share an idea I came up with after I came back from Europe last night.

The airport is the best place to do magic!

People who are waiting for their flights always have about an hour wait, and are either sitting there looking out the window of the airport, reading the paper, or playing with some electronic device. I am sure that if you just ask for a minute of their time they will be more than happy to give it to you.

I performed a lot at the airport as my flight to Chicago was delayed, so instead of a long boring wait playing tetris on a gameboy... I got to perform and entertain everyone.

Remember, everyone always has time when they're sitting at the gate.

Try this out if you have an airport near you or if you are at an airport.

Yup. Ive done it before.
I even did it for the air stuardess whent hey were waiting around. good fun!

yeah i actually bumped into "hardcore XCMer" at the tampa air port a couple of weeks ago on my way back from vacation. My girl friend spotted someone doing the "Werm", and when i saw someone else flourishing i had to intorduce myself. Turned out i already knew the person from the online comunity. lol Small world. BTW hes really good. lol

I didnt perform for anyone really though, but definitely caught some eyes and gasps with some of the flourishes i was doing. Thats always fun.

i know the airport is the best place to do magic. a month or two ago i was flying alone (im only 14) and my flight got cancelled and i only had $5 with me and a deck of cards. So i was in Atlanta flying to DC with $5 and a deck and i was hungry, so i told people i walked up to "hi im flying alone and my flight got cancelled and i only have $5 i was wondering if i could show you a trick or two?" i got soooooo much money but i only told my mom i got $20, lol i got like $75 that day and i could have gotten more.

Reminds me of once when I was at a concert, I realised I had my dlites in my pocket and I started playing with them while we waited for the next band. I was just practicing a bit and I looked up and saw a bunch of people staring at me. O.O Then this one girl just says, "Do it again." I noticed someone near me had a glowstick that was the proper color, so I just started pulling the light from the glowstick and eating it.

Amazing what you can do when people are bored.
