Okay so every so often the "what's the best deck," poll gets posted on online forums. Biggest problems with these polls have been in inclusiveness. There is only so many poll options you can post on a forum.

As a way to have a little fun, and get the word out on my new website, I have created a few pages that allow me to run an ongoing poll that includes all of the 35 decks I have reviewed plus a few extra that I have yet to review.

http://www.custom-playing-card.com/best.html

So If you are a card geek like me, go check out the new site and have a little fun while you are at it!
Cheers,
Erik

Awesome! An actually good website compiling custom cards! Also, is there any chance you'd allow other people to post reviews on here?

I absolutely would. I'm not exactly sure how I will do it yet. I am sorely falling behind in reviews. I haven't touched an E deck since they discontinued the UV500, and I have yet to try out the blue crown deck. Not to mention all the other Kick starters, Rare decks(ie. absolute and virginia slims). So there is a need for more reviewers on the site. That said, I want the readers of the site to have some consistency in the review style.

So off the top of my head I'm thinking of two levels of reviews. An official http://www.custom-playing-card.com/ reviewer and an affiliate program. An official reviewer would be one who learns my particular method for reviewing and follows that(posted on the main review page) and an affiliate who is just a reviewer that knows his stuff but follows his own format.

As soon as I flesh out more of those ideas I'll let you all know so anyone who is interested can contact me.

Cheers,
Erik

Spell Checker is your friend. It is spelled, "immortal". Ranking a deck as "undying" or, "not having a problem with mortality," is quite interesting I guess.

Thanks for that. My editor has no spell checker so, sadly, after building 63 pages in a month there may be a few of those. I'm kind of punchy after all that work, lol. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

As for why, the name, Immortal is just a little catchier than "Deck of cards that was previously a 5 star deck but is now off the market and therefore too expensive for the average consumer to consider a realistic deck for day to day performance and practice!"

Thus...Immortal, just seemed to sum up my feelings towards those decks a little more succinctly.

@Jevonsp- I'll shoot you a PM.

Just an update. A few folks on other forums mentioned that they are not facebook users. I added a form you could fill out so that you can vote without using the facebook "like" feature. Just an effort to be a bit more inclusive.

Cheers,
Erik
