An Inspiring Poem...

Hey all,

I was just listening to some of the really old podcasts from Ellusionist, and I realized that in one of them there is a really great poem. And I don't know what it was about the poem, but it really inspires me when I hear it. And I never have seen anypone mention it, so I wanted to share it with you. NOTE: This might not be word for word.

Brad Christian read the poem aloud, but I'm not exactly sure who the original writer is. Brad tells you in the podcast but I can hear the name correctly.

Here it is...

Suffle, Shuffle
Spread And Dribble

The Hands Of A Master,
Performing A Riffle,

They Ask If It's True,
His Eye's Ask If Not,

They Stare With Blank Faces,
Then Explode Like A Shot,

With Wonder-Filled Eye's,
Their Perceptions Bent,

They Entreat Him For More,
They Ask Where It Went,

But As He Smiles,
And As His Hand Glides,

It Jumps To The Top,
And Flips On Its Sides,

With Ninja-Like Stealth,
A Warrior In Kind,

The Folks Are Amazed,
And Disturbed In Their Minds,

For When He Makes Magic,
For When He Performs,

The Illusionist Brings Wonder,
To Reality Transformed...

That's a neat poem. Probably was submitted by a forum member; sounds like something someone did for school or something.

I don't usually catch the podcasts or anything there, so thanks for sharing!

A less than interesting poem, no doubt. But thereis an underlying meaning that gives me inspirations and I don't know what it is.
