Perhaps. Also, I'm just a fan of movies in general and Full Metal Jacket is a classic. A classic that the younger people have, apparently, not seen. Also, it's quoted very frequently, especially that particular quote.
My wife just told me to go ahead and finally drop the money. I'm going now.
I'll probably pass on this year's auction, but there's not a whole lot I want or need at this point anyway. Time to focus on what I have.
I was a born and raised Texan for the first 10 years of my life. I live in South Carolina now, but always loved Texas. Hook em HORNS!

To reiterate, I'll be at TAOM in Austin this year, although I may not make the first day of it. (This is another symptom of my present work situation, although I am fighting tooth and nail to get away from it.)
I absolutely love the magic scene here in Austin, and can't wait to see what the rest of Texas has to offer. It's a huge difference from the scene found on forums or chats.
