Balloons

Hi Guys!

I was thinking of using an effect with balloons, were a borrowed object appears in the balloon. to do this I need to 'Snap' the balloon, but when I do this, 9/10 it'll still be dangling by a thread at the top were I'm keeping everything else together.

Any tips?

Thanks,

I'm not quire understanding your post. Are you talking about Pressure? Airtight by Jay Sankey? An effect by you? Please be more specific.

Sounds like a Pressure type effect only with a borrowed ring or something...please explain it a little better so people can help you.

It isn't really an effect that is out there, and I don't have pressure so I couldnt say it was that.

Basically, the Idea is that you steal someones watch and then after some tricks you ask them if they want a watch dog to take home. you take out your 260 modelling balloon and, after blowing it up but before you make one twist, you push the object secretly into the knot or tail end of the balloon. after it is pushed in, you should be able to do something called snapping were you rip of the end that is keeping the object in one place so that it can go straight into the balloon. It is the ripping bit that is confusing me!

I have tried scissors, thumb nails and claw clippers, but each time it snap the end, it deflates quicky, and when I inflate it again it is hanging by a thread.

I'm sure the answer is practise, but If anyone has any good tips out there it would be greatly accepted.

Hope this is better explained than before,
