Beginner to coin magic, quick question about palming.

Hello Theory11,

I recently bought Modern Coin Magic by Bobo, and I have been practicing the basic concealments heaps. Recently, I went on this website http://www.classicmagic.net/tricks/133a.php, and near Figure 85, there is a move which is described as the "Finger Palm, No.2". From my reading of Modern Coin Magic, I was told that a Finger Palm is when you hold the coin at the base of the second and third fingers, yet this website says otherwise.

I would love to have an explanation of this move described in the website. Is it actually useful for anything and if so, how is it performed?
