Bicycle Masters, worth it?

It is dependent on way too many variables and personal preferences to say anything for sure. I have had quite a few of them, and I wouldn't say that they last seven times longer than normal Bicycles, but the stock is thicker, and they are of higher quality. I know it doesn't help when people say that you just have to try things on your own to know for sure, but in this case, that is completely the truth.

But, if you do want my opinion anyways, I think you can survive without them. They are nicer to perform with than to practice with (just because they look nicer). It is more of a placebo effect in my opinion. The name "Masters" looks cool, but I don't truly believe that the cards are that much better. I personally think that any Tally-Ho deck would destroy a Bicycle deck in overall quality.

Hey

I live in Australia and it's harder and more expensive to get cards here. So is it better to invest in the masters edition by E. Whcih suposdly can last seven times longer.

Thanks
J.

7 times longer, I am not sure, but hey are a much more durable card. The stock and finish are much better, but the price is not.

IMO, yes, go for it. I grabbed a brick on sale a long time ago and never regretted it.

Yes...well worth it. I love the thicker stock and use Master's all of the time. I know it sounds lame but I can perform double lifts way easier with the thicker stock. They do hold up better but I can not attest to whether it was 7 times longer.

I put my Master's in a normal Bicycle box though because some people have questioned the box and said that, "Those cards look different."

They last significantly longer than regular bikes for me. A deck of regular bikes lasts about a month of regular use for me, a deck of masters lasted me a year and I still use it to practice a bit.

I'd say masters last about 4 times as long as regular bikes.
This is good and bad. Depending on what you perform (mercury card folds, signed card routines, TnRs), more decks of regular bikes might be more worth it.

I stand by the fact that Masters and Ghosts are the best practice decks however.

Not sure how E's shipping prices are nowadays, but if I could get 4 bricks of regular bikes for the price of 1 brick of masters, I'd definitely go with regulars.

I have a question. I live in Hong Kong, and it is expensive to get cards here(t11). Then I tried to connect my relatives in Canada, however, the estimate shipping fee of sending the cards to Canada is the same as to HK, $7.95!! So, if i buy a deck from t11, besides the original price of the cards, do I need to pay the extra $7.95?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking.

You're going to have to pay for shipping. That's pretty much unavoidable unless you find sites that have no shipping charges. Whether it's shipping to Canada or HK, it's still being shipped and that's a service that must be paid for. If you ship from T11 to Canada, then have the people in Canada ship to HK, you'll probably have to pay for shipping twice, since it's being shipped twice.

My question maybe confusing, sorry. But what I was saying is that I can buy the cards here, and ask them to send to my relatives in Canada. Since they are coming to HK, and they can bring them to me. Initially, I thought that it will be cheaper to ship from T11 to Canada, and I was surprised to see the shipping fees of shipping to HK and shipping to Canada are the same. Then I asked that question in order to see if i misunderstood anything. As I indeed want to buy a deck of smoke and mirror V.4.

Ah! I see, now.

If the shipping rates are the same, they're the same. The site says 'estimate' shipping, so it may be different. However, we can't give you that information, you'd have to contact T11's customer support to get the exact answer.
