Book Test

I was looking at some book test performances online (Richard Osterlind's handling of the classic Hoy Book Test is just killer) and I came across this book test performed by Criss Angel. Aside from his goofy performance ("Do you have one locked in your head?") the effect itself is something I really like. Very direct and clean. Anyone know the name of this or a good source to learn it properly?

lol that was a horrible performance.

Was most probably just a mental force, similar to what you see alot of other magicians use, including Blaine at the start of his Street Magic special with the deck of cards.

that was a nice performance, lol if you want to learn that (and its a mental force) download the expert at the card table book from the erdnase website for free, it has some stuff on mental forces.
