Perhaps you've seen the trick where a signed quarter is wrapped in paper, lit, and burns a hole halfway through the deck to a spectators signed card. Does anyone know the name of this trick or can lead me in the direction to learn it? Thanks in advance.

In a Flash by Jay Sankey.

Check out his site, as well as most magic retailers.

There's also a similar trick on the Daniel Garcia Project, if I'm recalling correctly. I forget which disc it is, but I'm pretty sure I remember this (or a trick very similar to it) being on there. :)

Right, right...I knew I saw something like that; thanks for the refresher. I'm thinking the principle is similar enough that one could figure out a way to do it with some paper and a coin. :)

I used to use Jay Sankey's In a Flash and it was awesome. It did require just a slight bit of misdirection at one point in the trick but then again...what tricks don't..ha ha.
