I was wondering what style or type of business cards you use. I hate most of the vistaprint choices, and I was wondering what your business card looks like. I'm mostly just looking for inspiration here. Thanks :)

If you can afford it, hire a graphic artist to make cards for you.

A professional can't afford to look like an amateur. Get something that looks professional.

Check out my business card design. It's not related to magic but I'd figure it would help you out to see the layout of the card. Graduated in May with my Bachelor's : PBusiness Card.jpg

What type of business are you in, or rather what type of business will you be representing on the card? Magician, designer, yourself for freelancing?

I LOVE business card design. When making your business card design think of what you're using them for. If you're just doing it to be cool and fun, there are a lot of places for VERY cheap cards where you can upload your own design.

If you're doing these to get jobs, think of it this way. Each business card represents a possible job. Would you pay .50 cents or $1 for a possible job contact? I would. When you put things in this perspective you open up more possibilities which gives more meaning to $100 for 100 or 200 business cards. A bit pricey but well worth it.

At that pricing you can get wonderful options including thicker business cards, plastic cards, letterpressing, and custom diecut shapes. Check out these cards for an example. http://cardobserver.com/

As an architect/designer I have a portfolio of images that is essentially my "resume". If your job is within that category I STRONGLY suggest moo.com. They are the only company I know of so far that has business cards where you can print DIFFERENT images on each card, essentially giving you 50 different business cards for the price of 1. It allows you to bring your portfolio in a small convenient package.
