Card Controls: What is you Favorite?

Hey everyone

Now i know this has probably already been covered but i'd like to ask all you guys this

What are your favourite card control's and why?

At the moment i use 4 card controls regulary either becuase i'm good a them or becuase i cant think of something else at the time i'm performing

These controls are in order of how often i perform them

1. Miller Cascade Control (by far my favourite to perform)
2. D&D centre double lift
3. Lepauls Pass (bluff pass)
4. Fan control (my favourite to fry magicians)

I use these controls because they fit my style of magic very well. I love controls that look as innocent as possible, yet still have a fun and sometimes difficult method method behind them.

So what is your favourite card control and why?

If I'm out performing, a usual double undercut will do the trick. I don't do any fancy, full-of-sleight controls in actual performances. For fellow magicians and videos, I use some fancier ones like the Cherry Control (fools every laymen), a pass, or a dribble pass by Luke Jermay. Those are some of my favorites. Let's hear some more.

I work on a lot of controls.

1.Spread Pass-I love this move. I actually done this surronded and didn't get caught.
2.Fan Control-This on is a gem. People don't like because they think is obvouis, but when I saw the preview I was fooled as many people that I perform this to. Its prety much angle proof unless if you are performing it.
3.Classic Pass-Still working on it, but look forward to performing it.
4.Bluff Pass-AMAZING

That are my favorites controls

Coming Up in the World- I just found out the name of it this move by Wes James. It's used in the Card to Mouth 1on1.
Bluff Pass- My favorite control, only instead of using a riffle, I dribble through the cards. I love using this as a force too.
Spread Control/Cull- I think this is probably the most convincing control there can be. No extra moves.
Double Undercut- because I can.
If I feel like showing off or I get lazy I would use a simple flourish to control a card to the top. It's not hardcore cardistry, just a small flourish.

Still love the overhand shuffle. Works perfectly. Also use swing swivel cut

Exactly. I love the overhand shuffle. However as far as favorites go, I absolutely love the side steal. It has use as a control, a color change, a steal (duh), and a control. I also use the Jennings center double and the DMB spread control.

1. The Bluff pass, specifically Aaron Fisher's Nowhere Pass
2. The Classic pass
3. The double/triple undercut

working on and off on the side steal and the diagonal palm shift.

I do perform the classic pass, even though a simple break(+dribble!)+pass can work wonder when done with the appropriate amount of misdirection.

However, the best looking ones are, imho, the Clipshift and the Cherry control (can't figure the angles though :( )

I enjoy doing the Venus Control (V1), spread pass, bluff pass (Joshua Jay's) and double lift as a control. All work very well for me. I might throw in a pass or double undercut in there, depends on my mood :D
