Colour Changing!

Heya Guys!

I want to put together a new stage routine that I will be happy to take to competitions and so forth and I have a really good idea of what I want to do.

This will include many colour changes of objects, and so my question is What is possible to change the colour of on stage on a budget.

I know about Dresscode, and i am going to colour change cards as my opener in a stagey way, but apart from that I'm out of ideas, so any help would be brilliant.

It is going to be a fun slightly comic routine so nothing too serious.

Thanks!

I have an Idea: Skin color change!
I have now Idea how to get there though...

Maybe some kind of creme which reacts with some kind of gas and turns dark/light

If it helps with Ideas, everything will start in normal colours, but the plan is for them to all end up blue by the end.

Chr!s, can you give me some books to look into regarding hair colour change and hat colour?

I have seen these changes rather than studied/learned them. I don't do stage stuff so never worked on the hair change, but have seen it done brilliantly. Nestor Hato does a good one in his stage act. The hat could be achieved quite easily if you're using a beanie. Other hat styles might be more difficult, but remember that your props don't necessarily have to be examinable when you're doing a stage manipulation/colour change type of act.

Hope that helps!
