Hi Everyone
So basically i've been doing magic for about 8 years and i feel like I'm more than ready to work professionally.
I've heard a few members talk about how they send out contracts to get signed and so forth and was wondering
if any of you would be able to show a copy of your "contract" so i can understand what is involved in it and why you would need one. Also brochures as i need to make one ... thanks

Baz

I would gladly post mine if I could figure out how to do an attachment for .doc in this reply. Am I blind or just missing how to add an attachment? I see "insert video and insert video".

Scroll down to Manage Attachments.

Alternatively, upload it to another site?

i too would appreciate seeing an example of a contract. Specifically one dealing with video rights, and some of the more subtle concepts of the business end

Dan Harlan has a nice packet on Scripting, Routine, and business in which he goes over a LOT of stuff in only about 10 pages. He has his contract in there along with his tips on how you should advertise yourself.

It's really an amazing packet, it's called "More than Magic" by Dan Harlan. You can e-mail him and I'm sure he'll send you one for $10.

Ok...I figured out how to upload my document but it says my contract exceeds the file size so I am going to have to figure something else out. I will definitely post my contract sometime today. I'm at work and actually have to teach not play around...ha ha.

Ok...I'll just cut and paste the document. This is the best I could do while at work. You guys get the idea.
