Could an effect be rejected if it's labeled wrong?

Last year I submitted a flourishy production of a chosen card. It was rejected on the Wire but I continue to use it today. A little while ago I got a comment from a fellow magician who asked where I had learned it. I told him I had developed it independently.

It got me to thinking, could it have been rejected because I published it as a cardistry move when it was probably more fit for a card trick?

I honestly think that it wouldn't have been rejected for being labeled wrong, probably a different reason. There are a few effects on the wire that I would of put in a different category. I would suggest just asking support why it was rejected and maybe send it in again.

No, if I try again to release it it will be a along side a few other effects. Come to think of it they would probably just ask you to change the category if you submitted a coin trick as a card effect.
