Criss Angel - Signed Dollar Inside the Sharpie

I know 99 percent of you guys on here hate him and do not like his camera tricks but I still watch his new shows to see some good tricks every now and again.

I really liked tonight's "signed dollar inside the sharpie routine".
I have a few ideas of how I think it is pulled off but I was still really impressed.
I wonder if this effect can be purchased?

Any info? Who else watched this tonight and saw the said effect?

The light bulb - broken and restored was decent as well.

I thought tonights show was pretty good. Most of the effects were great ideas, not sure how many could be pulled of for real though.

The thing about the stunt....he stepped on the tiles that did not have the explosives but somehow knew which ones did as he would set them off imeditly afterwards. Suspious.


Also for the sharpie, i can remember Danie Madison had something like that with a card but defently not the same as Criss'.

yea. its sounds pretty similar to daniel madisons "fine scripture" except with a bill instead of a card.

I stopped watching Criss' show a few seasons ago, so I'm not familiar with the specific effect you're referring to, but it sounds pretty similar to Cramped by Richard Sanders. This is an awesome, practical effect that I've used for years in strolling environments. I first learned it from his Close-Up Assassin booklet, but I believe it's also taught in his Richard Sanders Show DVD set. It's a great resource with a lot of workable magic you'll definitely use in casual and professional performances alike.

In Cramped, the spectator signs a bill with a sharpie. The bill vanishes and reappears cramped in the cap of the sharpie which was held in the spectator's hands the entire time. There's a lot of similar hard hitting magic like this in Close-up Assassin.

I enjoy seeing some of Criss' more creative effects... such as the Signed Card Through Hockey Rink Ice. His new season is actually rather entertaining and he's doing some good close-up magic.

actually the past seasons sort of innoyed me but as I watched these two episodes he is growing on me a little more, in a good way. Def putting a couple good close up effects in there.
