By now - I feel that D+M has continued to make this reputation of his so that everyone looks more into then what is actually there. Perhaps it is as simple as what is presented in front of you. Maybe all the mystery he's put into everything in the past has finally drawn everyone away from what is clearly being shown in his video and the answers are simple but naturally we look for something more. Dm has created this mysterious persona which makes everyone think he has deep meaning with each and everything he produces. I feel he's worked hard to get the persona to where it is so he can start bringing out the simplicity in his work... and that is where he will have his highlights among magicians. Simple fools laymen and due to his persona simple will fool you too

Nahh, it's all just a big accident.
His plan was to film the revelation first, then the part where G thinks of a card, so that he knows which card to say, then swap those clips around. He just forgot to do that last part

They revealed how they did it at the end. If d+M does it the same way, all i'm going to say is that it's not editing. (But simple does fool the magian.)

I agree with what's been said about flipping the 2 parts of the video. They film the revalation first, and G just acts surprised that his card was located in such an impossible manner, then, now that they have a card, they film the 'beginning' where a 'random' card is thought of. The 'pledge' came after the 'turn' and the 'prestige', if you will...

I think its just a lesson in how easily deceit can be created. Honestly, if they would have shown the 'effect proper', how many of us would be going "WOW, when is that effect going to be released! That was amazing!!" even though there really wouldn't be an 'effect' to release...

I'm wondering if this also doesn't hint at the method for G's "2" as well...

Personally I quite enjoyed the video. I too believe that Daniel is simply demonstrating how easy it is to deceive an audience through the medium of video. Admitting to fabricating CHANGE? Perhaps. Perhaps not. We'll see soon enough.

The thing about Change is...it was never about him selling it. It was about secretly causing magicians all over to find their own method for it. To actually go about and create for themselves. There never was a set method to change, only an idea to cause people to think on their own.

At least that's my belief.

Actully at 1:00 minute exactly in the video Madison tells G " Now lets film like its the beginning " so the video is 100% fake and no trick really, it seems as he is showing and telling how something simpile can decieve us all.
Who knows..
