It's always nice when people show they care about you when they give something to you as a gift that you never asked for but they know you well enough to know you'd want it.

My piano students got together a bought me a performance used deck of David Blaine's for Christmas... it's on its way...

Anyone own these? It'd be nice to see what kind people got. etc...

Oh jeez, for a second I thought you were Lee Asher but then realized that you just use his name and should not. Unless you really are him. And in that case, I'd wonder why all the piano students are so crapy.

Really, "My piano students got together a bought me a performance used deck of David Blaine's for Christmas... it's on its way... "

They should practice the piano more! And you should practice how to teach them more if that is your job.

That's pretty cool! I was going to get one of those for my brother, but ended up choosing a few other things instead.

What was yours like? Any signed/altered/gimmicked cards? Also, what colour of back are they?

I still may end up purchasing a few (one for my brother, one for myself), but I'll save it for another occasion. :)

My name really is Asher :p

I'm a fantastic teacher! Music is my first love. We don't spend that much time talking about magic if ever, that's why I was caught off guard and surprised.

It still hasn't arrived.

Oh gosh. You actually gave me the "willies." Take care to teach the kids correctly.

So basically what you're saying is that your students got you a gift. And it hasn't shown up yet? Most likely, everyone besides you and me are making an effort to mess up deliveries. Or, and it is sad, deliveries are messed up by Inspector Gadget looking at them.
