David Copperfield - Academy of Country Music Awards

Tonight, David Copperfield appeared (not literally) in the live broadcast of the Academy of Country Music Awards from here in Las Vegas, Nevada. The performance looked amazing - you can hear the crowd roaring like crazy in the video. Enjoy.

My wife was flipping through thru the channels and I said "wait a minute go back, go back that was Copperfield".
She said "No it wasnt that guy had a cowboy hat on".
Then I said "go back already I think it was him" and sure enough it was. The place was going nuts. What a way for Taylor Swift to make an entrance.

I agree - it came across as dramatic, powerful, and theatrical. I loved watching this; looked awesome.

Ohh, that's awesome how he applied his elevator entrance to make Taylor Swift appear. Every time I watch Copperfield perform, it's always pure magic; I get that warm fuzzy feeling that laymen get.

It was definitely a first at the ACM's....

But overall, the show rocked! From the opening intro with Brooks and Dunn, to Taylor's intro by Copperfield, it was a great show!

You have to go see the show, it's incredible. Easily the best magic show I've ever seen.

I agree, copperfield is an amazing show. My friend who was sitting right beside me actually got to be a volunteer.

Ya' know, I have never understood the principles of stage magic. Just where the hell she came from I have no idea. And, at heart, I think a big part of me has never learned because I simply don't want to spoil the magic.
