Do You Recognize Any of These Books?

My Grandfather recently passed a few magic supplies on to me and let me just say, they're some real gems. I'm going to supply the names and pictures of the book/effect and I was wondering if you could tell me what you knew about them in terms of rarity, price, etc.

The first picture is "This Is The Magic Circle" which appears to be a type of club with it's own HQ. Also included in the picture is "Demon Magic" which appears to be a catalog which features many affects I'm still familiar with.

The second picture is a a board which has some Chinese writing on it and comes with another one with some type of reveal on it.

The third picture is Part Two of "Modus Operandi" by Eric C. Lewis and "Magical Digest" Both books seem to be some type of catalog for tricks.

The fourth picture is "Tricks With Cards" by Hoffman and "Paper Tricks" by Will Goldston. Both books appear to have some really great tricks in them.

The fifth picture includes "Reel Magic" and "The Fifty Best Conjuring Tricks" Reel Magic appears to be a subscription type thing with many different tricks and The Fifty Best Conjuring Tricks seems to have some great tricks. I'm not sure if "Reel Magic" has anything to do with today's quarterly under the same name but if it is then this sounds really cool.

The sixth picture is includes Part One of "Modus Operandi" and "For Magicians Only" by Robert Parrish includes many tricks.

The seventh and final picture includes "After the Dessert" by Martin Gardner and has many tricks. The other one is exactly the same as the previous "For Magicians Only" just without the jacket.

So those were my presents from my grandfather. If anyone knows anything about these please tell me because I'd love to know.

Thanks,
Charlie

I know about all of those books.

Don't waste time asking people to tell you about them.

Open them and read them.

well, if you got them for free, even id it isn;t under great circumstances, then you shouldn't be asking anyone 'are they good' you should be asking YOURSEELF 'what book is first?' even if you don;t use any routines, the ideas will stick in your head and change your magic for the better.

Penguin,

By your own admission you do not know anything about these books. That means your magical education has holes in it.

You will never be worse off from becoming more informed.
