E or T11 Forums

Hey guys,

I am very bored and just wanted to light a spark here. Before anything is said, I don't want this to become a full on death match.

So, I was on the E forums and I realized that they have a really ugly layout on there, anyone else find this annoying or is it just me? Also, would you guys rather go there for advice, or come here (just something I want to know).

T11... No question about it. These forums are MUCH more active, and have an easier layout.

Theory11 Forums all the way! I occasionally go to the Ellusionist forums to see what's up, but it not as interesting as the T11 forums. But that's just me.

By your own admission your trying to spark something here; A debate or a fight between brands. I'm not going to play that game. I'll take the moral high road. It doesn't matter which is an apple and which is an orange. That defeats the point of the analogy. The point is they both offer something to the student magician and comparison between the two is really moot.

Ellusionist is a magic company just like theory11, so let's please not bash E again or turn this into a debate. They put out effects and cards just like theory11, and every company is different. Speaking of E, Eric Ross came out with a new effect over there called Conspiracy. You guys might want to go check that out!

Thank you!!! This is gonna turn out like a million other threads that turn into a hate thread for E. And Conspiracy looks awesome.

All magic forums have their pros and cons, whether E, T11, the Cafe, or any of the countless others. There's stuff you can learn from all of them, and nonsense on all of them. Your job as a member is to sift through it all to figure out what's useful for you.

Also, while magic forums are great, nothing beats spending time with magicians in real life. If you're able, an hour sessioning with a handful of other local magicians is likely to be far more valuable than spending an entire day surfing the forums.

Use the forums you enjoy, ignore the ones you don't, and don't feel obligated to only participate in one. But never lose sight of the goal of the forums - to make your magic better.

Nothing. It's all personal preference. Why buy a Ferrari when you can drive a Honda Civic? Because you want to. Why go to Ellusionist when you can go to Theory11 (or vice/versa)? Because you want to.

Please don't compare T11 with E! That is insulting! If you like T11 just go with T11 or vice versa. Ellusionist has a great product and Eric Ross newest effect called Conspiracy looks awesome! Same with Theory11. I can't wait to hear new releases from them.

Be careful what you ask for, and be more concise, so that we'll know how to benefit from this thread, rather than suffer.

But back to the thread, this is seriously going nowhere. Please stop posting about t11 vs. E. This ship sailed long ago and I find it immature to see people still bashing E.
