what editing software is good im looking for a free 1 to start but any suggestions woul be appreciated

Videopad is amazing free software. I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 (about $30) and is great for me.
The only (not terrible) video editing softwares you'll find for free are the ones that come with the computer like Windows Movie Maker and iMovie. But, if you're a PC user and you want a really good, cheap software, then get Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It's around $50 and it gets the job done.
