Im not actually certain the effect itself was ever going to be sold, the whole 'Magic is Dead' thing is a little confusing.
I think it was more of a advertising campaign for the magicians, rather than a store, and hey it worked and im sure got a lot of hits.
There was a video posted by a fellow Australia Theory11 Member with his own version of the effect, and he was contacted asking for the video to be taken down as it was the exact same effect and method as the effect itself. Though the T11 Member used a card that perhaps made it easier to realize this.
Not that the above probably makes sense to someone who has not seen the video.
Its the kinda thing which looks pretty nifty on camera, but would be pretty difficult and obvious to perform in real life.
