Just one quick question on it, can the quater be barrowed? Or is it a gimmick coin and you need to do a switch?

Without exposing anything, there is ABSOLUTELY a way to have the quarter be borrowed. I think, so far, I've thought of at least 2 ways that are very practical.

If anybody wants to know, you can contact me via PM - but as proof of ownership, tell me the last name that appears under 'Special Thanks' during the credits.

Okay, here's an attempt to answer your question directly.

The actual effect cannot use the same borrowed quarter. A gimmicked one is needed. But like said before, if you know a few basic coin sleights, you should be able to make the spectator think that you're using their quarter.
