So here it is.
Do not blow this off as another epidemic film.Its not about that at all.
This is the type of film where substance seeks form.not form substance.
I trust most of you know what that means.
Of course all of you can have your opinion about it.

It looks alright. It seems to have the potential to be a really good movie (it seems to rely on a sophisticated storyline, from the trailer--which I'm really hoping it does), or a huge disappointment (similar to another "epidemic" movie about some virus from a bomb, or whatever--I forget what it's called, but it was total crap).

It'll at least get a rental from me.

It seems that some of you are unaware of the incredible potential this film has. Just think about the plot in a metaphorical sense... Amazing.

I smell an academy award nomination.(maybe not best picture but who knows..)
what could go wrong with director fernando mierelles behind the cameras.

I tried to read the Jose Saramago book a few years ago; I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't give it a chance past the first few pages.

To insert a magical angle on this: I've been practicing my pushoff double lift blindly -- feeling it instead of looking at it. I'm still early in it, but I'll speak more about the results later.
