i am considering getting this effect. Who else has it that can share some insight? It looks really awesome.

I do not own it but I am not sure about the health/safety issues of the effect. It concerns me. I would contact them and ask whether any chemicals are used. I believe in Tarbell there is a similar effect. I'm not sure which volume though. There is also a method in "Chemicalo Magic" of performing this effect.
