Does anyone know where I can learn Helder's Fism Act?...I've seen other people doing the trick on you tube... I already have his DVD Small Miracles but it's not taught. Just met him at the Magic Castle on 04/13/09 and he was very down to earth.

I'd most likely surmise that the people doing his act on youtube were stealing his material after watching it. One of the main reasons people don't like to have their acts on video. And one of the main reasons others want every act on video.

Are you trying to tell me that you wouldn't want to learn an award winning act. I could watch the video over and over and figure out the trick based on my knowledge of card magic, but I would much rather pay the creator of the trick for its handling.

I'm trying to tell you that I wouldn't want to learn an award winning act. Unless it was given to me by the award winner. If you figure it out that doesn't make you good at magic. What makes you good at magic is understanding it and waiting for the award winner to let you practice his effect. Otherwise you're just parroting without knowing his handling.

I met Helder some time ago and he told that he has to release some of his stuff before it gets stolen and released by some other people. So just wait for his next release, there will probably be his amazing handling of the Travellers and some other goodies.

Yes. Actually, yes I would. I personally would want to create and own my own award winning act, not perform someone elses.

I think there certainly is an element of review for the sake of understanding that would go into developing such an act. But not review for the sake of performance. That's just lame.
