A couple days ago i decided to fulfill my childhood fantasy ( i am 23 soon) :)
and learn card flourishing.
I read a lot for days about different decks and books.
I am gonna go and buy two tally-ho's fan back blue decks and two shadow master decks :)
I got one question, what is a bar code reveal on the box a lot of ppl talking about?
Thanks :)

Welcome to the forums buddy, great that you're getting into it. :) A bar code reveal is really just a specially printed bar code that allows for a magical reveal of a selected card when presented in the right way. :) You'll see when you have a look at one in person.

I'm not a flourisher by any means so I can't really help you further than that, hope you enjoy your time here. :)

Thanks :)
Does anyone have The encyclopedia of playing card flourishes book? Is it worth buying it?

Sorry for the abbrievations.

Anyway, XB stands fo Xtreme Beginnerz, a beginner (although extremely awesome) flourishing DVD created and put out by the German flourisher Devo (website: superhandz.com) and the flourishman Jerry Cestkowski (website: flourishman.com).
Many consider this dvd a necessary resource for beginning and intermediate flourishers.

You can find XB 1 and 2 on Ellusionist.com - actually, here's a link:

Xtreme Beginnerz 1: http://www.ellusionist.com/product/dvd+training/devo/xtreme+beginnerz+1+-+dvd+&+download+bundle.do

X.B. 2:
http://www.ellusionist.com/product/dvd+training/devo/xtreme+beginnerz+2+-+dvd+&+download+bundle.do

Hope this helps.

Since you just started a few days ago, you needs the basics. XB should be good... get XB1 first, and then when you're finished with it and you like De'vo's style, go for XB2. But ONLY if you really like his style.

Sephiroth, are you going to start doing magic too? If so, grab the Trilogy. All of them.

XB is definately the first place to start.
The encylopedia is also a great beginning.
From there you have Dan and Dave, Daniel Madison, Devo, The Virts and a heap of others.

In the case of flourising, youtube can be really good.

Cardshark88 is someone that has helped me a heap.

Look forward to helping you out!
