Hello.
Anyway, I think you are doing this show in a wrong direction. So many effects? You are in no way putting all the effort in everyone. Let me give you an example, Houchin performs 3-4 effects in an hour show. Try to present them in a bigger fashion.
Also, needle swallowing is a powerful piece! Don't open with it! Open with some card manipulations and THEN go into the more bizzare stuff.
I suggest you pick 5 effects and write presentations for them. Write you presentation for your whole show. Yep, write a script. It will help you more than any sleight you practice.

Don't take my word for it, I haven't seen his show (I would love to, though).
However, I searched for his shows on Google. And same 4-5 effects were in the reviews all the time.
If you have thread, watch his Sideshow performance. It changed my look on stage magic. He stretches Thread into a 10 minute performance.
Remember, it's not about you showing your tricks and going off the stage. It's about communicating with the audience, making them laugh, change their mood, make them interested. You can invert other stuff that isn't magic into a stage show (Wayne actually performed a con scam, where he called into a Movie Theater to show how easy it is to find a number of a credit card) and make it more interesting.
You are an entertainer. Do your best to entertain. Magic is just one of the few tools you can use. A true entertainer can walk in a room and perform without any props.
Be sure to buy "Maximum Entertainment" by Ken Weber. It is a fantastic book and gives your performances a whole new meaning.

Yea I watched his thread performance and it is pretty damn good.
But it wasn't 10 minutes
His performance of the Gypsy Thread and Thread added up together to be only 7 minutes. He also had the advantage of opening/ introducing the show. My first 3 routines take up around the same amount of time each so i guess its fine.
Mentalism is already the best way to stretch time though as most of the time youre just explaining things. Especially in the style of John Archer. Have you seen him? What a great performer.

Haha Russian Roulette! The suspense! If you have confidence, then go ahead. IDK, maybe you can try it with more cups. Six, maybe (like a gun) But be REALLY careful. Seriously. Here in HK, not many people see magic, plus the ones who have probably never seen the stake/cup Russian Roulette.
