How can I carry street-magic props without a jacket?

I currently enjoy doing magic to strangers on the street or malls or whatever.
I usually bend forks and get great reactions.
But it’s summer, and it’s very hot. Some days are fine, but some days I would boil alive if I was to wear a jacket.
It is, however, very difficult to carry forks around with only a tshirt, and I can’t be carrying a bag all the time.

So does anyone have some suggestions?

It may not suit you, but you could try wearing cargo pants or shorts. You may be surprised in the variety of styles they come in.

Consider a vest? The great thing about mentalism is that although I do carry a lot of props, none of them take up much space. So I do need a lot of pockets, but everything lays flat in them and does not look bulky.

I dont know about you guys, but most of the times I carry a backpack. Basically every thing I need or might need is always in my reach.

A friend of mine hand makes these leather suspender like harnesses that carry magic props. Completely custom! Here is a pic of one he just made for someone.
