hey everyone,

i have seen many people put links to their youtube videos, or different threads in their signature, and i was just wondering...

how?

here is an example from the stop exposure thread made a couple days ago.

You mean like this?

so how do you do it?

thanks,

When replying to a post, the button under the smiley face is the one you want to hit. It looks like a little sideways paper clip, and if you mouse over it, it should say INSERT LINK.

Now that you've found the button (to be more specific, it is the fifth button over from the second row of buttons on the bottom)...

Type in any word, let's say the word: Monorailcat.

Now that we have the word, highlight it, and then click that "insert link" button.

It will say "please enter the URL of your link," and a white box to enter the link in will be there.

Simply find the website you want to enter, and copy and paste it into the white box.

Now click "OK" and then continue writing your post.

Hope that helped,

MagicSanj's approach will work, but I know what you're talking about.

Google

You tyoe [ url= "http://google.com" ] then the word and then [ /url]. Again without the spaces. This way you can do it manually and faster.

Hope it helped! :D
