Hi!

I though, I could ask you to help me a bit, and give me your opinion on these two tricks. They are based on Internet Memes. It would be great if you could tell me what went well, and what could I improve. Thanks! :)

Jakubr:

I like your style. You've got a very natural way of connecting with your audience. The idea of using internet memes is brilliant! You're taking something that our generation is familiar with, can connect to, and using it to create a nice mental mystery. Could the same thing be done with cards? Sure, probably but that would be boring. This is fresh, and new. Best of all it's you.

As for what went well, and what didn't I really didn't see anything wrong per say, but I will complement you on using the lime green envelope that we see later on in the second trick. It really REALLY contrasted with everything else in frame and made it stand out. The color was a good choice. It makes me think about the envelopes that I use for my predictions which are usually bland manila envelops that are boring in contrast to what you used. I think I'll have to go hit up a card store and get some brightly colored Easter envelops while they are in stock.

Overall, good job. I look forward to seeing more from you!

I really liked the concept of using memes and doing mental forces with them. I think it has great impact and is well done. Nothing caught my attention that would have caused the effect to lessen it. Great Job.

Thanks so much, William, it means a lot to hear this from you. I'm glad you liked the lime envelope. I think as you do, it's quiet boring to use all the time standard white/manila envelopes and hopefully green made them a little bit more curious. I'd love to see your effects in the future as well, thank you!

Jevonsp, cheers :)

Thank you The Mad Gaffer, I had this concept to use memes with mentalism for quiet a while, as I like playing with effects based on emotions. But for a long time I couldn't come up with anything. It was just a few week ago that idea for that two came to me. I'm glad you enjoyed that.

rich23, thank you!

AndrewTW, hehe :D

I really liked this because it was a bit outside of the box and interesting. Thank you, thank you, for not using cards. It held my interest and you seem very calm and relaxed. You have an enjoyable personality that would make it darn near impossible for a heckler to mess with you.

RickEverhart, thank you for all those nice words! I like to use props other then cards whenever I can. I love cards, but it seems, other stuff interest spectators much more. And with mentalism there are also other reasons for not using them. Thanks!

William Draven, hehe, I'd love to see some of your stuff! :)
