Is this a special fan?

Hi,
When I saw the pictures of the brown wynn cards ( http://www.theory11.com/playingcards/wynns.php) I wondered what's the fan called that you can see on several pictures. Is this just a normal smear fan or manipulation fan or anything special.
Please post if you do know more!

No, that not really a fan, it actually a "Le-Paul U spread" with 2 hand and than at the end you hold it with one hand.
If you know how to do "Le-Paul U spread" you'll know what I means.

PS: I do that allot but not as good as the one in the picture.

Thanks, I know how to do the normal Le-Paul spread. So I'll try to get this U-shape.

I really suck at making it all perfect like in the picture In fact... mines probably not even classified as a fan it's so bad

you can also do a one handed/smear fan that looks like this if you practice.

Yeah like that other guy said, you use the Lepaul spread to form a fan in your dominant hand.

You could also do a normal spread like when you go "pick a card"
