I've Never Been More Nervous

In my highschool, the broadcasting class does a thing called DPTV where once a weekthey play a show on TV for the entire school to see.

I was recently told that they want to interview me and shoot some videos of me doing magic and play it for the entire school. When I was only told this, I started shaking so much out of nervousness.

You guys think I should do it? Any advice?

Unlike you I do not allow that psychological state...In fact I radiate confidence in everything I do....As for what you should perform for a bunch of HS kids I recommend you stay away from long, boring and dumb patter...They do not want to listen to some guy talk more....Do something that is fast and visual...
Kids like money so do two dollar window also eXtreme Burn/Hundy 500... is pretty "c00l" and you will get lots of chicks too!

hmm If you do a card trick make it something with little to no patter...Something like card to impossible location or If you are good enough you can figure out how to do this one on your own.

As been said several times RK - the most important thing is to do things you've done before and that you're very comfortable with. You won't know how your nerves will affect you because you've never been in this type of performance situation before. If you try something that you've never done before, even if you've practiced it a lot, most likely you'll end up messing up your performance due to unexpected responses, questions, reactions, or angles.

So far it seems that a few of the things you're considering you've just purchased or learned so there's no way you have enough experience yet to perform it in this setting. Learn to listen to people and what they're saying instead of just going by what you think without any real experience behind it to back it up.

It seems that way, but that isn't the case. I have been using loops for a LONG time, as well as my very favourite bill switch. I just had to go buy more loops and another TT for the bill switch
