Kid Show Closer...

So, Recently I posted a thread looking for some kid show advice and I got some great responses and have succesfully put together a show. I can't wait to perform it for some kids. I am currently linking everything together with patter and what not but I still need one very i,portant thing. I need a strong closer for the kids. Something that will make them love me and keep them amazed.

Do any of you know a strong closer for kids???

Check out the card-toon deck. I have done kid shows and they absolutely love it.

Cardtoon is great if you're performing for like 3 kids. Not a party effect, and not a closer!

Try a fire eating, sword swallow, Thread, or Human Pin Cushion! [/sarcasm]

I really can't give an opinion here. I don't do kids shows. But I would do something like a misers dream or dancing cane. Maybe a comedy handcuff escape?

My closer is a D'lite routine, mainly because I play it by ear! I have been known to spend over 10 minutes on those, because I do something in which I toss the "light" to a child, he or she catches it, and tosses it back. The imagination of a little one is an amazing thing and as a result, they play along and trust me, EVERY kid wants to catch the light. Some kids even get really into it and start pushing their invisible light through their head or something similar. Lots of mileage and the perfect closer.

I agree with Michael. D'Lites are awesome for kid shows.

If you have time to get this and prepare for it....Bill Abbott's "The Thing" would be a great closer. Check it out. Kids go nuts over it. It is a great levitation.

I bought mine from Hank Lee's shop in Boston when he had a good discount of 25 percent going on. It was still around 100 bucks though. You get a music CD with it, and instructional dvd I believe, the gimmicked cloth and an ungimmicked cloth.
Do a search for it and see what comes up. I don't know if you will get any real steals on one anywhere. When is your show again? I'm not going to lie and say you can buy this and perform it right out of the box. It will take some days and weeks of practice to get it looking real good.
