M5 System: Tactics and Training DVDs

Hey,

For those who dont know, Ellusionist has released the M5 2 DVD set by Justin Miller. They look pretty wild, and Justin said that this is the best stuff he has put out with Ellusionist.

Yea I think it was released at like six, or seven yesterday. I wonder why it was such an unknown release though. It just came out of nowhere.

Yer I agree. I found out by E's Twitter. I only heard about this when people where just speculating. Then now bang it's released out of nowhere.

Yeah, I heard about it a while ago, and saw that it was released yesterday.

It's funny...when magic companies hype up their products, people get pissed about how much they're doing so. Yet, when magic companies don't hype their products like crazy, people are left scratching their heads and asking why. I don't have an official answer, but I'd speculate that the companies are listening to their customers (which makes sense, given E's newest release, as a training DVD for the M5 has been heavily requested, from what I've heard).

But yeah, they were relatively quiet about the release, which is nice. E's done that for the last few, actually. I've seen more hype by the customers/magic community than by the actual company itself, heh. But they did announce it in their news letter, I believe; so anyone who's signed up for that would have been updated about the release either yesterday or the day before.

As far as the actual DVDs, they look pretty cool. My brother's M5 has been in his drawer for the longest time...maybe I should get him these DVDs for his birthday or Christmas or something, so he can actually get some use out of it, heh.

E's been adding new stuff almost everyday. only a few were publicized, Window and now the M5. Thread, Digital Conviction, Identity, just to name a few.

This one looks intriguing. although I would have to get an M5 first. well, I don't HAVE to, but should.

I like that they're offering a discount, though, if you purchase the M5 with the DVDs. $20 in total, I believe ($10 off the M5, $5 off each DVD). It's better than not saving any money at all.

I don't think so. They may be two different companies, but that doesn't mean they're out to get each other. Also if that was the case then I'm sure E would have hyped it up a lot more.

Don't throw the conspiracy theorists a bone. We've managed to keep their dumb asses quiet lately. No need for giving them a lifeline, even if it is a joke.
