So guys next saturday, a week from tonight, is my large gig is coming up. Where I live there is a clothing buisness called, Puritan Clothing. I go to school with the sons of the owners of the buisness. This year it was their turn to put on a new England Buiness Owners weekend getaway type thing. And their sons thought that I might be a good performer to have on the roster. So the parents called me, asked for a price, my show length, information and all that. So here is the final outcome.
On Saturday, June 13, I will arrive at a very prestigious five star Inn where the event is being held. I will collect my check for 250$ and proceed into a large room where there will be aproximately 40-50 kids. I will start with a 45 minute kids show. Then I will have a 15 minute break in order to gather up my close up stuff and head on over to the "cocktail room" where the adulyts willbe drinking and conversing for an hour to an hour and a half. There, I will perform card magic, coin magic, rope magic, and sponge ball routines for the adults. After that I will leave.
During the event I will have buisness cards for those who want them. I will also be collecting tips. (Keep in mind that they will be big tips, due to the fact that every person attending this is a millionare.)

Today- I was away all day. My Aunt passed away a year ago, so her husband thought it would be nice to have a Saturday Mass in her honor. So my family went (even thought myself, my sister, and parents ore not religious.) After the service we all went out to have dinner at a small place. After the meal I was walking around performing for my Grand parents, distant relatives, and even my great aunts, uncles, and even my great grandparents.
It was just for fun until one man. A VERY distant relative of mine wanted to see a few tricks, so I did an ACR, Jumping Gemini, and Here then there. He laughed and told me this: "Hey man. My kid is having a party in a few weeks. Wanna come to a kids show?" I said sure so he gave me the information and I have to call him later this week. "I'll give you one hundred bucks for like a 45 minute show." is what he told me.
So there we have it. Yet another show.
