This is a Triumph trick I came up with recently which you can view here

Sorry for the bad quality. I really need to buy a new camera.

Enjoy!

If you have any comments post them here.

Thanks,
Charlie

honestly i didnt like it.
ive seen versions of it. i know u did try to explain your self why you where taking soo long to find the half of the deck, but it was very sloppy and there was no reason for turning the deck over.
there are other versions that use the same method,
but good try. keep working on it.

Good. I'm sure that you discovered that method on your own, but that idea has been around. Everything needs to be smoother; loosing the card, I dont know why it took so long to find the middle cause you should have a break there already. Go alot slower. Spare your mirror of the theatrics, but never your audience.

I appreciate that you tried to come up with another method for the same trick, even if it has been done before.
I respect the creativity, good job.
Not everybody thinks outside the box, which is a great quality.

this just kinda bugs me
if you put all the work into coming up with a original effect or routine
why not put the time in to perfect it
the control
really needs work

put the time needed to polish it up and post another video

im not saying its a bad effect
just more time is needed

Some constructive criticism, trying not to be too harsh.

First, there's no premise. Why create a gimmicked triumphed, when there are impromptu ones? What is the benefit? If you ARE going to do something as such, make it worth it; make a better premise that uses it to benefit. It's almost like going back to smoke signals to call someone instead of using a phone.
(don't know if that was exposure or not, if so please edit it out!)

Why create such an effect when there are so many impromptu ones out there? Also, no justification for finding exactly half. I was sitting about to get up and grab a bowl of cereal while you were doing it.

Overall, just think it through. It should flow, there should be purpose, and they should generally CARE. I shouldn't have been thinking about food while watching it. Keep playing around with it, maybe something good will come!

I know my presentation for this trick was poor and I thank you for your advice. The reason I resorted to a gimmick was because I just found that it makes the trick SOOO much simpler. All the methods I've seen for a triumph were either not convincing enough or the sleight of hand was just too hard.

I think this is a good method because you can REALLY see the cards mixed face up into face down and you don't have to do any funny moves to proove it. The trick is also very easy and literally all you have to do is turn the deck over.

I tried this out on my friends and family and it got great reactions so I will still, however, perform this effect.

I'm not exactly sure if you knew what I was doing because there is no control needed. The reason I had to fiddle with the cards a bit was because I was working with an old deck and the cards were beginning to clunk up.

Again, I thank you all for your feedback and am aware that this effect requires more practice from me.

Thanks,
Charlie

P.S.
Perhaps if I perfect the trick I will post another video for you to see what you think.
