Nick Ahh Flourish Download
Okay so Nick Ahh release a series of downloads, where you can purchase them at Maydey.com. They are 4 options you can chose from. You can get the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or get all three at a special price(a bundle) Each download cost $6 or you can get the bundle for $15(you save $3) So I got the intermediate section because I wanted to work on some flourish during the summer(since I have no life
). So my review is for the Intermediate section
Quality:The video quality is good. Its not HD, but you can see everything clear. So this video is not going to be hard to learn from.
Teaching:Nich Ahh doesn't say a word through the video. It doesn't brother me at all. So basically the a full performance of the flourish and then a step-by-step instruction. During the instruction there are pause and texts to show you important finger position. Then a slow walkthrough
Flourish:Now I'll talk about the Flourishes. This section contains 4 flourishes
Warm-Up:A really fun and cool looking cut. I can't really describe it. You do need to know how to do the sisscors cut and revolution cut. Difficulty-2.5/5 Not that hard just need to know the cuts mention above. Rating-5/5 Really like this one and going to work hard on this one.
Rhinestone:A quick one handed cut. I don't really care for it, but still its okay. Difficulty-3/5 Its kinda hard for me. I don't have much experience with L cuts. Rating-2.5/5 Not really my style, but maybe I'll grow into it.
Spinarette:A card spins on top of two packets. I really like this. Its elegent and will be using this. Difficulty-2/5 Not that really hard at all. You do need to know Kevin Ho's Racoon. Rating-4.5/5 As I said a cool little flourish.
Red Head:Its basically a sybil with a twist, ends a 3 packet display. Difficulty-3.5/5 Its kinda hard, but I guess I will get use to it. You need to know the sybil cut and revolution cut. Rating-3/5 I don't care for it(maybe because I can't do it
) I will pratice it and use it most likely
Final Thoughts:I really like the download and its worth the 6 bucks. I will look into the other videos when I get these move down. I reccomend this if you are looking for something to work on that is fun and original. Rating-4/5
