Hello,
I am Tom Field and;
I do magic, mainly card magic, though, but a mild sprinkling of others.
I usually will have a deck in my hands for most of the time at home, a.k.a. not at school.
I will usually use bad decks for 1-6 months, the lower end being very bad ones, and the decent ones towards the higher end of the scale, and good decks, well, I have never classed a good deck beyond use, and I've been doing magic for about a year now.
Well I find that if when you push over one card, more than two come over, it's going to the graveyard.
And the graveyard, to answer your final question, is a bag of decks that fit the above criteria, that are of no use anymore, so I use them for card throwing. Because I will half the time use good decks, and half the time bad ones ( and by the way, I class a good deck, bicycle standard upwards ) simply so I know how to use a bad deck well, and when faced with a good deck, can do even better things, but the good decks also used for my sanity to be maintained. And if a bad deck is too bad, it is thrown into the bag.
However, I wash my hands thoroughly before every use of a deck, except bad ones, and I know how to maintain a deck to keep it fine for ages. I have never had a good deck turn even the quality of a new bad deck, and I have had a few decks for a year, and used them rigorously, for all that time. If you want any information about keeping decks' condition good, feel free to PM me, other than that, I hope I've been of some kind of help,
Thanks,
Tom Field
