Hi, is there anyone here who can perform this classic routine with the exception of letting the audience shuffle? I have risked this with the stripper deck before and well, they shuffled the "wrong" way. I heard Derren brown has a variation of letting the spectator shuffle, is this true?

thank you.

tenmilewalk,

Derren Brown does indeed have a version of Out of this World that lets the spectator shuffle.

The technical basis of the Out of this World I use is Harry Lorayne's, which also allows the spectator to mix and shuffle the deck several times.

Derren Brown's is amazing.

Paul Harris' Galaxy is very nice as well.

I would personally use Derren's as it is very free and fair. However the best routine I have ever seen is out of (t)his world where you do the exact thing that you claim that you are doing.

I have to say that Derren Brown's is great and pretty simple too. Although i am not so much into the Out Of This world plot i have to say this is the one i would perform

Learn the Green Angle Separation (Lennart Green) and you can let the audience shuffle all they want. Nice variation on the TA set as well; it's called Dunn's Deal. With both the audience can shuffle as much as they want before the effect.

Happy Magic.

I use Eugene Burger's handling. They can shuffle that deck from here until doomsday and it won't make a difference to me.

how many face up out of this worlds are there? because i remember jason dean, maybe doing one and it was amazing. all face up, he picked up a card i named the colour flipped and it matched, for the entire deck. oh and i got to shuffle.
