They will increase the strength of your hands for making the motions involved in a pass. This lets you do the move faster. It will not automatically grant good technique, though. You still need to understand the pass and practice it properly. It's basically weight lifting for your hands. If you practice incorrectly, you'll just hone the wrong skills, just like any other sleight.

not sure. im sure they can help better a pass, but to learn a pass you need to know how to do one with the correct handling
ive been passing with normal cards for the last 3 or so years and that works fine. if you want to make a good practice tool (if you are just starting out) you can take a deck of cards and seperate it into 13 cards piles (should be 4 with the 2 jokers and the ad card left out) you can glue each pack together using some elmers glue stick and make 4 stuck piles. this will help with some technique and the cards wont fall apart easily so u wont drop as many and it'll make technique practicing nice. you can also use the joker to practice cover passes

I would tell you to take a lesson with Aaron Fisher as opposed to buying a Pass Trainer. Nothing can make up for proper technique, and Aaron will show you the way.
