I don't what you mean as fishy. Reselling an old effect yes but fishy (not to sure).

there something that bothers me here...

I know is Gregory Wilson who is doing this trick...but this trick has been done countless of times...but still he is selling this as new or something... and nobody here says anything...

if somebody here, a not-so-known magician or an amateur posted this trick and the exact same handling everybody here will be bashing him giving him bad criticism or telling him that he should be more creative instead on relying on old tricks or worse...but since is greg wilson nobody says anything..see the hypocrisy here (spell check).it´s the same old trick, the concept is the same and the handling differs a little bit.

I see a lot of threads of people posting tricks that have a variation or good twists in the trick, and sometime they just post this tricks for us to watch without intend to sell and a lot of people here bash them telling them...oh you suck!! or that is not new!! I think that´s a lot of crap...but if somebody as Greg Wilson releases this very used trick nobody says anything....

Wow, I couldn't have said it better myself...completely agree!

Not only that, but he also teaches the 'Shape Shifter' on the DVD... pretty much the same effect from E's 'Army of 52'.

Regardless, it's pretty much the same as another gaff routine out there.
