Hi...i just went to Rite Aid, and bout a 75 dollar american express gift card, that is especially for dining, but you can use it for other things too...the thing is, ive gotten a gift card before, and i activated it by going tos tarbucks and buying a small coffee, thus getting it swiped in the criedit card thing....after i did that, i went home, and ordering worked...but now, i dont want to spend money on a coffe, because the order is almost exactly 75. is there a way i can activate it without purchasing anything from a store?

Usually, there is a website you go to that came with the card which lets you activate it.
In some other cases, the card works out of the box.
