Question about the Mystery Box re: the 826 Charity

I understand that if we purchase a single deck of Mystery Box cards, Theory11 donates $1 to 826 National.

Does that mean that if we buy the actual Mystery Box, which contains 12 decks, that $12 of that goes to 826?

That is correct. Each deck purchased is $1 to 826 National. Since the Mystery Box Lockbox contains 12 decks, that is $12 to 826 National. Great question!

Theory11 doesn't donate the $1, BadRobot does. It seems small but it's important to give credit where credit is due, more importantly, don't let theory11 accept credit for someone elses charity.

This project was a collaboration through and through, and the decision to partner with 826, as well the charitable donation itself, was a shared one. It is important, however, to give enormous credit to J.J. Abrams and his wife, who do far more work with 826 beyond this project alone - they are each on the Advisory Board of 826 alongside Spike Jonze, Judd Apatow, and Fiona Apple.
