Raffle for Jerrys and Wynns

Hey guys, I have created a raffle on eBay for Jerry's Nugget cards and Wynn cards. All of the proceeds are being raised to help purchase a plane ticket for a close friend to visit an elder magician that is on his death bed. We are trying to make a trip to see him before he passes. Why did my payment get refunded?

Hi, I have refinded all of the participants. This is due to eBay's prohibition of selling chances. I was recently informed that it is against eBay's policy to sell these items:

Lottery tickets, McDonald's game pieces, and codes and coupons for sweepstakes, raffles, or drawings are generally defined as a chance to win something.



There are very strict regulations on gambling.




Due to this, I have refunded everyone's payment because if under the right circumstances, if eBay wanted to file suit against me, I could go to jail.


I greatly thank all of the participants, and I am very sorry that this raffle had to end.






However, in the near future, I do plan to host a private (outside of eBay) raffle for Jerry Nugget cards to raise money for a plane ticket. This is to avoid conflict with eBay's guidelines and regulations.

Casey, thank you for the kind words and the support. In the future when I plan to raffle, I will automatically give a gift to all the purchasers, whether it be an ebook or an e-manuscript so that everyone will receive something. =)
