Well you're learning. At least we didn't have a minute thirty of you just walking around with music in the back ground. The black and white filter, while artistic, works against the magic being presented because it obfuscates the audiences ability to clearly follow what is being done. The problem most artists face when filming magic is the obstacle of overcoming believably. Everyone is well aware that things like what you feature in your video can be done with special effects, and camera tricks, and it's easy to dismiss this performance as such. You need to do everything you can to give counter arguments to that such dismissal. Clear video, realistic skin, blood, acting, and reactions help sell this effect a lot.
Your technique is effective. If you are just filming a video, then the effect is as well. However if this is being presented as a piece of magic, then it comes across as kind of camera tricky. Doesn't help either that you are coping a magician who is known for such things.
Which brings me to another point... It's okay to emulate other magicians when you are learning, however you seem to be trying your hardest to brand an image for yourself. Phantasmagoriana. I would advise, for the sake of creativity, to limit the amount of material you produce that can be seen as a direct copy of another magicians work. Posting too many of these videos where you are performing effects other magicians are known for will get you labeled as a hack- something you desperately want to avoid. Try to develop more of yourself, and things no one else is doing.
