This is an impressive production, and I'm happy to have stumbled upon it here. I snatched it up after I saw the demo, what really pushed me over the edge were the live performances.

I won't go into a trick-by-trick review, but let me just say that the tricks here are WORKABLE. They're very practical - a few of them are original ideas with ingenius handlings and a few of the tricks are old plots with a refreshing new twist. Alex and John take you through each of them, and walk you through the nuances of each killer effect. I won't lie, the effects on the DVD require both technical and performing experience to truly reap the full gains, but there's absolutely no reason a complete beginner couldn't being to learn these great routines.

So, that's it in a nutshell. As far as the minor stuff goes (aesthetics and stuff), the DVD is very nicely designed and produced. It comes with an attractive DVD cover, and the DVD menu and quality follows to suit. The production value is excellent, and you get every penny's worth of your money.
