Today we mourn the loss of one of the great coin magicians of our time Geoff Latta, his work will be cherished and remembered.

He leaves behind a grieving family.

Alcoholism has taken this poor man's life, may he rest in peace.

What a shame.

Alcohol and its effects have claimed too many great close up magicians.

Let's not dwell right now on the reasons surrounding why he passed, that can be addressed in time. Let's just mourn the loss of a true great in magic.

It is universally accepted by psychologists that alcoholism is a disease and those in the thick of their disease are no better off than those with cancer.

I don't think you could go as far as too say that, seen as you can be on a detox diet and still get cancer, yet you have to start somewhere with alchoholism.

RIP Geoff Latta though.
