I doubt it. Those signatures are for an applicant submitting to join a local assembly. If that's you, then you just go to a meeting and ask two members about it.

I had to perform for a small group and had two hands shoot up to sign me in. It was pretty easy.

I don't know if Copperfield is in the SAM, but his signature, or Criss's, won't do much for you application-wise.

Find a local magician, or anybody related and they will probably be willing to let you in. I visited a shop in a state I've never been to before, and the shop owner told me all about it and said she would sign for me and get somebody else to if I was interested. Same goes for the IBM, really. I e-mailed a local magician (who happens to have been a previous president of the ring closest to me) and he offered to sign mine and find another to sign. So, just look up who is active near you and contact them is my advice.

i belong to the IBM...really i just had to give a performance and then 2 of the already members came up and said they would sign my application. i know copperfield is part of IBM...go to the IBM website www.magicians.org and find a ring near you.
